These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Females in Tech website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
1. About Females in Tech
Females in Tech is a collective of passionate women in technology committed to empowering women and fostering inclusivity in the tech industry. We believe in the power of technology to transform lives and communities.
2. Use of the Services
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and following these Terms. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any activity by third parties who access your account with or without your permission.
3. User Content
You are solely responsible for any content you submit, post, or display on the Services (“User Content”). You represent and warrant that you own all rights to your User Content or have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses. You further agree not to submit any User Content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
- Infringes on any intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party.
- Contains personal information of others without their consent.
- Is false or misleading.
- Contains viruses or other malicious code.
4. Intellectual Property
The Services and all content, features, and functionality available on the Services, including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by Females in Tech or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any of the content on the Services, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with the prior written consent of Females in Tech.
5. Termination
Females in Tech may terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
6. Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Females in Tech disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Females in Tech does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Services are free of viruses or other harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
Females in Tech will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, and punitive damages.

9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration by the rules of the arbitration will be held in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Females in Tech regarding your use of the Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
